Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a Customer Marketing & Advocacy professional to join our data security client in Santa Clara, CA. This position plays a crucial role in driving growth initiatives for customer advocacy. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Customer Marketing & Advocacy, the role focuses on expanding the community and amplifying customer voices across various marketing channels. This is a contract position with the potential to transition into a full-time role, based on performance.

Responsibilities

The Role & The Team:

  • Grow the customer community (40% of time):
    • Help plan and execute the growth strategy for global community of advocates.
    • Align with sales, customer success, support, product, and marketing teams to cultivate meaningful dialogue within the community.
    • Generate creative ideas to retain community members and increase engagement, leading to cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
  • Other responsibilities for customer marketing/advocacy initiatives (40% of time):
    • Craft compelling one-page customer case studies highlighting challenges and how they were overcome.
    • Create materials integrating the voice of the customer for internal enablement and external promotions.
    • Assist in program managing customer marketing/growth initiatives, including virtual pipeline generation events, customer newsletters, customer loyalty programs, and reporting metrics.
  • Manage presence across industry review sites (20% of time):
    • Create campaigns to source customer reviews and win upcoming awards.
    • Work closely with vendor teams across Gartner Peer Insights, G2, and TrustRadius to maximize investments in the platforms.

Qualifications

  • Experience driving successful marketing campaigns.
  • Customer-facing experience in a professional setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or equivalent.
  • Specific experience at a high growth SaaS company or in customer marketing/community management is a bonus.

Compensation for this position ranges from $25 to $40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
